Efforts for natural conservation & environmental preservation are rigorously carried through,

For sustainability & authenticity; all the original trees on site have been preserved, with all guest rooms being carefully placed among the casuarinas and coconut trees. Haadson recycles a portion of grey water from guests rooms, and 65% of all timber for the walkways and furniture being recycled timber.

Haadson Resort is located on a natural setting of 19 acres of landscaped jungle directly on Bangsak Beach, Khaolak, Phang-nga province, Thailand.

Access to the resort is from the beach front promenade, where Bangsak offers the longest stretch of beach in Khaolak;
stretching from Pakarang Cape to Thap-Tawan Cape.
Without commercial activity on the beach, guests will enjoy tranquil beach walks.

The resort is 90 minutes by car from Phuket International Airport, 15 minutes from Khaolak centre,
and 15 minutes from Takuapa. Both Khao Sok National Park & Khao Lak Lamru National Park are within 45 minutes, and Similan Islands National Marine Park is just over an hour away by speed boat.

The ideal time to visit Haadson is during the winter season between November to April,
coinciding with the opening of both Surin and Similan Islands National Marine Parks.
The summer season offers tropical monsoon showers and rougher seas.

Phuket International Airport is 85 kms south of the resort.
Transfer service from the airport is available on request.
To self drive from Phuket Airport;
Head north on highway #402, crossing over Sarasin Bridge into Phang Nga province. Continue north on the west coast taking highway #4 passing through Khok-Kloy and Thai-Muang.
Haadson is 19kms north of Khaolak centre.

by car & bus
from Bangkok, the journey is 10+ hours on Highway #4. Khaolak is serviced by the Southern bus routes between Bangkok – Takuapa, Phuket, Ranong, with Takuapha being the closest bus terminal.
Car rental services from Phuket is available, with the option of returning at Khaolak centre.

  Ao Phang-Nga National Park, Ko Similan National Marine Park, Mu Ko Surin National Park,
  Khao Sok National Park, Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchabrapa Dam), and Phuket Town

  Ao Phang-Nga National Park: The Bay of Phang-nga, covering 400 sq.km between Phuket island and Krabi mainland, is famous for mangrove gardens & scenic seascapes of sculptural limestone outcrops. Many of the limestone formations contain hidden lagoons, or Hongs, offering boating & sea kayaking exploration tours. Distance: 80 km (1.5 hr by car + 3-5hrs of kayaking).

  Mu Ko Similan (Islands) National Marine Park: Similan Islands is world famous and rated in the top 10 diving sites of the world. Turquoise waters offers great visibility of reefs teeming with marine life. The 11 islands that make up the Similans also boast white sand beaches & impressive boulders. Traveling time: 1 hr by speed boat from Thap Lamu Pier + 4-5 hrs of diving.

  Mu Ko Surin (Islands) National Park: Comprised of five islands, the Surin Islands provide spectacular shallow reefs. The North & South islands have the most beautiful reefs ideally suitable for snorkeling, and in April, the community of Moken sea gypsies gather here to celebrate Thai New Year. Traveling time: 1 hr by speed boat from Khuraburi Pier + 4-5 hrs of diving.

  Khao Sok National Park: An immense tropical rainforest of 646 sq.km, the park has many jungle trails for spotting wild animals and birds. The Sok river runs through the park and offers rafting & canoeing. The park trails mainly follow the course of the river and thus provide a number of waterfalls. Distance: 50 km (45 mins. by car + 4-5 hrs for jungle activities).

  Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchabrapa Dam): Khao Sok National Park’s most famous feature, the 28 km long lake harbors abundant bird life, and boast to be Thailand’s Guilin due to idyllic mountain outcrops with tranquil waters. Excursions involve long-tail boat tours with options for swimming. Distance: 80 km (85 mins. by car + 2-3 hrs for boating activities).

  Phuket Town: The town centre has plenty of restaurants and craft shops, many in the old Sino-Portuguese shop houses along Thalang, Yaowarat, Romanee, and Dibuk Road. Distance: 125 km (1.5 hrs. by car + 3-5 hrs for shopping & exploration).

  Sri Phang Nga National Park, Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park, Takuapa Old Town,
  Nam Khem Fishing Village, Sai Rung Waterfall

  Sri Phang Nga National Park: This forest reserve area between Takuapa & Kuraburi district is 246 sq. km. The park is the main water source for four water walls, and also contains a natural mangrove rain forest with a number of wild bird species.

  Khao Lak Lam Ru National Park: The 125 sq. km forest offers treks among sea cliffs & fine sandy beaches. The forest is home to abundant wildlife and native birds. Distance: 22 km (20 mins. by car)

  Sai Rung Waterfall: The largest of four water falls in the Khaolak area. Distance: 6 km (5 mins by car)

  Takuapa Old Town: A charming small town, offers Sino-Portuguese architecture, and historical temples & buildings.
  Distance: 25 km (20 mins. by car)

  Nam Khem Fishing Village: Local Fishing community, with a local ferry to Ko Phra Thong. Unfortunately made famous by the 2004 tsunami, the community has built a memorial along the beach. Distance: 8 km (10 mins by car)
